Kochi: The Indian Postal Service (IPoS) has announced major changes in its services, with a focus on improving the quality of its offerings. As part of these changes, the Department aims to handle 15 percent of the country's total parcels by 2026, up from the current 2-4 percent. These changes will also include increased rates for certain services.
Under the new system, the Post Office will no longer offer parcels and services at the previously low rates. Some of the key changes include adjustments to the pricing of registered and business parcels, which will now be available at updated rates.
