Mexico has reignited the curiosity about whether there are extraterrestrials in the Universe, and whether there are visitations by them. Mexican lawmakers on September 14, 2023, heard testimony that "we are not alone" in the universe and saw the alleged remains of non-human beings in an extraordinary hearing marking the Latin American country’s first congressional event on UFOs. In the hearing on FANI, the Spanish acronym for what is now termed Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP), politicians were shown two artifacts that Mexican journalist and long-time UFO enthusiast Jaime Maussan claimed were the corpses of extraterrestrials. The specimens were not related to any life on Earth, Maussan said. The two tiny "bodies," displayed in cases, have three fingers on each hand and elongated heads. Maussan said they were recovered in Peru near the ancient Nazca Lines in 2017. He said that they were about 1,000 years old, and analyzed through a carbon dating process by Mexico’s National Autonomous University (UNAM).

Simultaneously, in the USA an independent group of scientists and experts convened by NASA found no evidence that “Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena” known as UAPs or UFOs, are "extraterrestrial" in nature, but stressed that better data is needed to understand some encounters that have defied explanation. The Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena Independent Study issued its final 36-page report with several recommendations about how the space agency can use its scientific expertise to contribute to the government's investigations into the objects. A relatively new office within the Defense Department known as the All-Domain Anomaly Resolution Office has taken the lead in collecting and examining UAP reports from military pilots, which totalled about 800 as of May 2023.

Significantly, there was no comment about the Roswell Incident, which occurred between mid-June and early July 1947, Rancher W.W. “Mac” Brazel found the wreckage on his property in Lincoln County, New Mexico, approximately 75 miles north of Roswell. He brought some of the debris to Sheriff George Wilcox of Roswell, who in turn brought it to the attention of Colonel William Blanchard, the commanding officer of the Roswell Army Air Field (RAAF).

The next day, the RAAF released a written statement that “The many rumors regarding the flying disc became a reality yesterday when the intelligence office of the 509th Bomb Group of the Eighth Air Force, Roswell Army Air Field, was fortunate enough to gain possession of a disc through the cooperation of one of the local ranchers and the sheriff's office of Chaves County.”

The following day, the Roswell Daily Record carried a report about the crash and the RAAF’s astonishing claim. But U.S. Army officials quickly reversed the “flying saucer” claim, stating that the found debris was actually from a weather balloon.

Reports by eyewitnesses also claimed that two bodies of extraterrestrials were also recovered by Army personnel. Nothing is known thereafter.
The saga of speculation continues. From time immemorial, mankind has always harboured the suspicion, that in the immeasurable vast Universe, there could be pockets where alien civilizations could be existing. Hence the ceaseless quest to search for aliens. The project Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence (SETI) was started to detect intelligent extraterrestrial life, by monitoring electromagnetic radiation for signs from alien civilizations. In 2015, Stephen Hawking and Israeli billionaire Yuri Milner announced the Breakthrough Listen Project, a $100 million 10-year attempt to detect signals from nearby stars.

Soviet-era scientists took a strong interest in SETI during the 1960s and performed a number of searches with omnidirectional antennas in the hope of picking up powerful radio signals. Soviet astronomer Iosif Shklovsky wrote the book ‘Universe, Life, Intelligence’ in 1962, which was later expanded upon by American astronomer Carl Sagan as the best-selling book Intelligent Life in the Universe in 1966.

As of date, nothing concrete can be stated about extraterrestrials, despite innumerable projects and research. The Mexican display of the two fossilized remains of suspected aliens will once again give fresh impetus to search for aliens.

Hindu Scriptures are replete with details of extraterrestrials that were in touch with human beings from Rig Vedic times. The Valmiki Ramayana, Sundara Kanda Section, Chapter 8, Verse 6 vividly mentions an alien race called the Bhutaganas who controlled Ravana’s flying machine, the “Pushpaka Vimana” The following amazing verse is very intriguing:
vahanti yaṁ kuṇḍala-śobhitānanā mahāśanā vyomacarā niśācarāḥ | vivṛtta-vidhvasta-viśāla-locanā mahājavā bhūtagaṇāḥ sahasraśaḥ ||
“Those wonderful vimanas roamed the sky with extremely high speed, controlled by thousands of evil creatures with big round eyes, with helmets on their heads.”

Does this verse not bring to mind the goggles and the flight helmet, referred to as a "bone dome" or "foam dome", worn by airforce pilots?

In the Mahabharata, there is a description of Arjuna killing “Nivata-kavachas” literally those wearing air-tight armours who used advanced space crafts. In the Bhagavata Purana, Canto 10, Chapter 76, mentioned an aerial war between King Salva and the inhabitants of Dwaraka, who were attacked by aerial vehicles that possessed extraordinary technology and weaponry unknown to the then-human race.

Very complex mathematical computations are enunciated in Hindu Scriptures. The life span of Brahma is reckoned as 100 Brahma years or 72,000 Kalpas or 311.04 trillion human years. Two Kalpas make the day and night of Brahma. A Kalpa is equal to 4.32 billion human years! Such amazing computations in the remote past, would not have been possible without some external (Alien) input. Even in this Age, the assistance of supercomputers and artificial intelligence would be needed to understand such calculations.

Maharishi Narada is considered to be the greatest Time traveller. He is reputed to be a ‘Triloka Sanchari’-one who travels between the three worlds. He can tele transport himself in a fraction of a second, to any desired destination. Hindu Scriptures postulate that it is possible to travel faster than light. It is known as Mano Vega- speed of the mind. Albert Einstein's genius was in his use of ‘Visualized Thought Experiments’ (German: Gedankenexperiment) as a fundamental tool for understanding physical issues and for elucidating his concepts to others. Einstein's thought experiments took diverse forms. In his youth, he mentally chased beams of light. For Special Relativity, he employed moving trains and flashes of lightning to explain his most penetrating insights. Detailed research and experiments are underway at the Munich University of Technology (TUM), and the Berlin University of Technology (TU Berlin), in pioneering ‘thought-powered aircraft’.

Stephen Hawking the celebrated Astrophysicist, was a firm believer in the existence of aliens. But he was of the view that intelligent aliens may be rapacious marauders, roaming the cosmos in search of resources to plunder and planets to conquer and colonize. He reiterates that basic concern in "Stephen Hawking's Favorite Places," a documentary, that "One day, we might receive a signal from a planet like this," Hawking says in the documentary, referring to a potentially habitable alien world known as Gliese 832c. "But we should be wary of answering back. Meeting an advanced civilization could be like Native Americans encountering Columbus. That didn't turn out so well."

Scientists are in perfect sync with Hindu Scriptures, about aliens, spaceships, cosmic time, and thought travel. What India needs now is to open up our schools and universities, to examine Hindu Scriptures, to extract scientific ideas for development. If German scientists can examine our Scriptures and boldly start experiments in thought power, should we lag behind? Silly remarks of moronic politicians, should not deter us from investigation, research, and experimentation.
