Canada: Unidentified individuals opened fire outside Punjabi singer Chani Nattan’s home in Canada, according to media reports.
Meanwhile, the Lawrence Bishnoi gang has claimed responsibility for the attack.

In a social-media post, the gang said the attack on Channi Nattan’s home was prompted by his growing closeness to fellow singer Sardar Khera. The message warned that any performer who worked with, or had links to, Khera in future would “be responsible for their own losses”, and said the group would continue to inflict significant harm on Khera, while adding that they had “no personal enmity with Channi Nattan”.
There were no immediate reports of any injuries following the incident, officers said.
The incident follows the arrest of a gang member, Jagdeep Singh alias “Jaggu” in the US recently.
The Haryana Special Task Force (STF) had also arrested Lakhwinder Singh, also known as Lakha, a close associate of Bishnoi, on October 26.
Earlier in October, three men linked to gangster Rohit Godara publicly confessed to shooting a singer in Canada, issuing a chilling warning that "this is only the beginning." In a social media post, Mahender Saran Dilana, Rahul Rinau, and Vicky Phalwan had claimed responsibility for the attack on Teji Kahlon, who was shot in the stomach.
