Three men linked to gangster Rohit Godara confess to shooting singer Teji Kahlon in Canada, issuing a stark warning of further violence. Escalating Indian gang activity in Canada.

Toronto: Three men linked to gangster Rohit Godara have publicly confessed to shooting a singer in Canada, issuing a chilling warning that "this is only the beginning." The online admission marks a continuation of escalating violence attributed to Indian gangs operating in Canada, particularly those associated with the Godara and Lawrence Bishnoi factions.
In a social media post, Mahender Saran Dilana, Rahul Rinau, and Vicky Phalwan claimed responsibility for the attack on Teji Kahlon, who was shot in the stomach. The accused stated, “If he understands, fine. If not, next time we will finish him.” The shooting reportedly targeted Kahlon for allegedly aiding rival gangs through financial support, weapon supplies, and intelligence sharing.
The confession went further to threaten anyone assisting the gang’s enemies, including businessmen, builders, and hawala operators. “If anyone, even by mistake, supports our enemies, we will not spare their families. We’ll destroy them,” the post declared. “This is just the beginning. Watch what happens next.”
This admission fits into a troubling pattern of rising gun violence in Canada linked to these gangs. Recently, the Bishnoi gang, along with associates Kulveer Sidhu and Goldy Dhillon, claimed responsibility for attacking comedian Kapil Sharma’s Kap’s Cafe in Surrey, British Columbia, the third attack in just four months. The café was targeted previously on July 10 and August 7.
Following the attacks, security measures for Kapil Sharma and related venues in Mumbai and other locations were increased.
