The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation has introduced solar-powered smart benches across the city, combining renewable energy with practical public use.

The benches provide free mobile charging facilities and comfortable seating, making them especially useful for students, commuters and residents. Integrated lighting also allows people to use these spaces after sunset.
