Actress Neena Kurup has filed a complaint against actor Tini Tom with AMMA, alleging public abuse, threats and humiliation during the organisation’s family gathering.
Malayalam actress Neena Kurup has lodged a formal complaint against actor Tini Tom with the actors’ association AMMA, accusing him of public abuse, threats and insulting behaviour during the organisation’s family gathering earlier this year.
According to the complaint filed on May 12, Neena Kurup alleged that Tini Tom publicly insulted her during AMMA’s family gathering held in February.

She claimed that the actor used obscene and abusive language in front of several people, causing emotional distress and affecting her dignity and self-respect.
The complaint also reportedly alleged that Tini Tom physically threatened her and attempted to assault her during the incident.
Neena submitted the complaint to AMMA president Shwetha Menon and general secretary Kukku Parameswaran, seeking immediate action against the actor.
No official response from AMMA yet
Despite the seriousness of the allegations, AMMA has reportedly not issued an official response or announced any disciplinary action so far.
The controversy has drawn attention within the Malayalam film industry, especially after multiple allegations surfaced against Tini Tom in recent days.
Ansiba Hassan also raised allegations against Tini Tom
Actress Ansiba Hassan had recently alleged that Tini Tom played a role in her resignation from AMMA.
Ansiba claimed that after becoming joint secretary of the organisation, she faced repeated accusations and slander targeting her personally.
According to her statements, rumours were spread accusing her of religious conversion attempts and illicit relationships. She also alleged that complaints she raised against a female executive member were not properly addressed.
Ansiba further stated that she had informed Neena Kurup about the issues she faced within the organisation.
Shwetha Menon calls allegations a conspiracy
Reacting to the controversy, AMMA president Shwetha Menon reportedly described the complaint against Tini Tom as part of a “pre-planned conspiracy”.
Her remarks have added another layer to the ongoing dispute within the actors’ association, which has frequently faced criticism over internal conflicts and handling of complaints involving members.
The controversy continues to spark discussion within the Malayalam film industry, with many awaiting AMMA’s official response and possible action regarding the allegations.
