Bengaluru: Flipperachi, the Bahraini rapper born Hussam Aseem, has found unexpected popularity in India after his 2024 track FA9LA featured in the Bollywood film Dhurandhar.
The song appears during a striking sequence featuring Akshaye Khanna’s character Rahman Dakait, whose intense dance moves helped the track gain widespread traction on social media.

Following the viral success, Indian fans recreated the choreography online, turning FA9LA into a trending soundtrack beyond its original party appeal. The exposure has brought Flipperachi a new audience in India and strengthened his connection with Bollywood listeners.

Amid the growing popularity, Flipperachi announced his India tour via Instagram, confirming his first performance in Bengaluru on March 14. He said additional cities and dates will be revealed soon and invited fans to suggest locations in the comments.
In an interview with Filmfare, the rapper said seeing his song in Dhurandhar was a special moment. He added that the film gave FA9LA a darker, edgier tone compared to its original version. Flipperachi also expressed excitement about visiting India, particularly about experiencing Indian cuisine.
As he prepares for his India debut, fans are anticipating more live shows and possible collaborations with Indian artists. The success of FA9LA highlights the growing crossover between international musicians and Bollywood cinema, driven by social media and global audiences.
