Google Wallet has introduced a major update for users in India, allowing Android users to securely add their Aadhaar card to the app.

Steps to add Aadhaar card to Google Wallet using the Aadhaar App

  • Download and install the Aadhaar app on your phone.
  • Open the Aadhaar app on your Android smartphone.
  • Sign in using your Aadhaar number.
  • Verify your identity by entering the OTP sent to your registered mobile number.
  • Once logged in, tap Add to Wallet.
  • Select Google Wallet from the available options.
  • Tap Continue.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process and add your Aadhaar card to Google Wallet.

Steps to add Aadhaar card to Google Wallet using the Google Wallet app

  • Download and install the Google Wallet app.
  • Open the Google Wallet app.
  • Tap the "+" (Add) button in the lower-right corner of the screen.
  • Select Aadhaar.
  • You will be redirected to the Aadhaar app.
  • Sign in using your Aadhaar number.
