Indian Institute of Crafts & Design (IICD), Jaipur, Rajasthan, has invited applications for admission to various UG and PG degree programmes for the Academic Year 2026-27.
IICD has been working in association with Ambuja Educational Institute (AEI) under Public-Private Partnership (PPP) mode. Courses of IICD are affiliated to Vishwakarma Skills University, Jaipur (Formerly Rajasthan ILD Skills University, Jaipur), Rajasthan.
The UG and PG degree programmes in Craft & Design are offered in the Specializations (i) Hard Material Design (ii) Soft Material Design (iii) Fired Material Design (iv) Fashion Clothing Design (v) Jewellery Design (vi) Craft Communication and (vii) Interior Design.
Eligibility for admission: (i) 4 Year Bachelors Programme (B.Des) - Applicant should have passed 10+2 from a recognized board of education. The Course is of 04 years / 08 Semesters duration which includes 1-year Foundation. The selection of the students for the specialisation will be on the basis of his/ her performance in the foundation semesters and the aptitude shown (ii) 2 Years Master of Design Programme (M.Des.) - Applicants should be Graduate from Design or Architecture background (B.Des., B.A.in Design, B.Sc. in Design, B.Voc. in Design, Any other Graduation Degree in Design or B.Arch./Any other Graduation Degree in Architecture) or should hold a One Year PG Diploma in Design Foundation.
Admission will also be offered to 1 Year PG Diploma in Design Foundation. Graduates in any discipline are eligible.

Candidates have to opt for the specialisation while filling up the personal and other details in the online registration form, prior to entrance test.
Selection Process: Selection will be based on Entrance Test and Interview. The Entrance test 2026 will be conducted online. Common Entrance Tests for all Programmes will have 2 sections. Section A - General Awareness, Creativity & Perception Test; Section B - Material, Colour & Conceptual Test.
The Admission forms that are submitted, in acceptable format, on or before the last date, will be processed for Entrance Test. Details of the test will be shared in the Admit card cum question paper. Admit Card cum question paper will be available to be downloaded from the admissions link by the registered Applicants after 4 pm on 5th April 2026 (Sunday). Responses must be submitted by 4 pm on 20th April 2026.
Personal interview will be conducted (via WhatsApp) from 1st May 2026. Exact date and time will be communicated in the admit card of the applicants by 5th April 2026 (Sunday). Personal interviews will be conducted for a period of around 20 minutes. Applicants will get a call from the IICD examiner team on the given time on their registered WhatsApp number. During the interview applicants must keep the submitted art work / portfolio with them.
Final merit list will be prepared by giving weightage of 35% and 45% respectively for Part A and Part B respectively and weightage of 20% for Personal Interview.
All selected candidates will get intimation of their selection through an Admission Letter, which can be downloaded from the given link at IICD Admissions link. Details regarding fees, payment method & Hostel facilities will be mentioned in the admission letter. After payment of fees, a list of documents for submission and course commencement schedule will be provided in the next mail.
Application can be submitted online at https://www.iicd.ac.in/ latest by 4 pm on 31st March 2026 (Tuesday). Registration fee for Indian Nationals is Rs. 1750/-, to be paid online during the filling of the Registration form.
Admissions will also be offered for UG/PG Programmes to (i) those who have qualified and have a valid selection letter from UCEED/ CEED/ NIFT/ NID -2026. They can appear directly for the Personal Interview (via WhatsApp) of IICD. Admissions will also be offered to Lateral Entry in B.Des in Crafts and Design 2nd year Course in 2026-27.
