Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Bodh Gaya has invited applications for Admission to its Doctoral (Ph.D.) Programme commencing in June 2024. 

Areas of Specialization: Marketing; Economics; Finance & Accounting; Strategy & Entrepreneurship; Organizational Behaviour & Human Resource Management; Information Technology Systems & Analytics; Operations Management & Quantitative Techniques and Humanities & Liberal Arts (Business Communication). 

Eligibility: Applicant must possess one of the following qualifications (i) Master’s degree in any discipline, with at least 60% marks or equivalent grade point average (ii) Professional qualifications like CA, ICWA, CS with at least 60 % marks or equivalent grade point average (iii) Five-year Integrated Master’s degree programme in any discipline, with at least 60 % marks, obtained after completing higher secondary schooling (10+2) or equivalent (iv) Four Year/Eight Semester Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech./ B. Arch.) with at least 65 % or equivalent.

Those who are appearing for their final year examination in the current academic year may also apply. However, their admission to the programme will be provisional subject to their successful completion of all requirements for obtaining the relevant degree before 30th June 2024.

Age Limit: Applicant must not be more than 40 years of age as on 1st June 2024.

Applicants should have taken CAT (2021/2022/2023) or GRE/GMAT/GATE/JRF(UGC/CSIR) as per the area of specialization. The date of the examination must be 1st July 2021 or later with score validity on or after 1st January 2024. Those who have already passed two-year full-time PGP completed in the last 5 years from IIMs with minimum 60 % marks or equivalent are exempted from the test score and can apply directly. Selection: Applicants will be shortlisted for Personal Interview (PI) based on the Test Score (CAT/GRE/GMAT/GATE/JRF(UGC/CSIR)). Merit List will be prepared based on Personal Interview & Research Aptitude (second stage of PI), Academic Qualification and Relevant Work Experience. Financial Support: Institute will provide scholarship to full time Research Students (Ph.D.). It will cover all academic expenses (consisting of tuition, computer, library fees) and hostel fee. Stipend till Comprehensive Exam will be Rs. 32,800/- per month; Stipend post Comprehensive Exam will be Rs. 35,400/- per month and Stipend post approval of Thesis Proposal will be Rs. 39,300/- per month. Additional Financial Support include (i) Contingency Grant: Rs. 25,000/- per year for four years (ii) one time grant to purchase Laptop: Rs.50,000/- (iii) To attend Conferences: Rs.1,75,000/- for conferences after completion of Comprehensive Exam (Maximum within 5 years)
