Translational Health Science and Technology Institute (THSTI), NCR Biotech Science Cluster 3rd Milestone, Faridabad-Gurgaon Expressway, Faridabad, Haryana -121001, has invited applications for admission to the BRIC - THSTI - JNU Ph.D. Program under Special Drive, 2024-25 (Monsoon Session) for Chemical Sciences.

Applications are invited only for Chemistry/ Medicinal Chemistry domain. 

The Ph.D. Program at THSTI is governed by JNU rules. For further details, visit www.jnu.ac.in. Selected students will have to undergo Ph.D. course work for 2 semesters. Those successfully completing Ph.D. course work requirement will be recommended to JNU for Ph.D. registration. For the award of the doctoral degree, the candidate will have to complete all the requirements as per the JNU rules. Admission fees, annual fees, registration fees or any other fees levied by JNU shall be payable by the student. 

Eligibility: Applicants should have a Master's degree in Chemistry or Medicinal Chemistry from a reputed institute with a valid national-level fellowship of UGC/CSIR or equivalent.

Those appearing in the final qualifying examination for the National level fellowship may also apply but must provide original documents during the interview of the Ph.D. Program.

Application: Application can be submitted online at the link provided in the Notification latest by 02.08.2024. 

Application fee is Rs. 236/- (Rs. 118/- for SC/ ST/ Women/ PwBD). The payment can be made by using Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Internet Banking/ UPI. Applicants may keep a copy of the provisional receipt for future reference. 

On successful submission of application, an auto-generated email containing the reference number will be sent to the email address provided. Applicants are required to keep a printout of the online application form by using the print button on the dashboard for future reference. 

Selection: Shortlisted candidates will be called directly for the interview. The list of selected candidates will be published on the THSTI’s website. 

Selection will be made based on the applicant’s performance in the interview. The interview will take place at THSTI, NCR - BSC, 3rd Milestone, Faridabad - Gurgaon Expressway, Faridabad - 121001. There are 2 seats (UR). Since the seats are under UR, those who have obtained their fellowship under UR category will only be eligible to apply. 

Selected students will have the option of shared hostel accommodation in lieu of their HRA.
