A video showing security personnel forcibly removing independent journalist Sam Husseini from U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken's press conference has gone viral on social media. The confrontation took place on Thursday, when several journalists, who oppose U.S. support for Israel, interrupted Blinken as he defended his handling of the Gaza conflict.

Husseini, known for his criticism of U.S. foreign policy, shouted at Blinken, "Criminal! Why aren't you in The Hague?" He was referring to the International Criminal Court, where war crimes are prosecuted. The disruption continued until security removed him from the room.

Blinken’s Controversial Role in Gaza War
Blinken has faced growing criticism for providing weapons and diplomatic backing to Israel throughout the conflict. The war, which has lasted for 15 months, is expected to shape the Biden administration's foreign policy legacy. Despite a ceasefire deal reached between Hamas and Israel on Wednesday, which involved the release of hostages, Blinken’s actions continue to draw strong opposition.
