Reports say President Trump is weighing strikes on Iran's energy targets, with Israel potentially joining the operation.

Washington, DC: US President Donald Trump is considering air strikes on Iran's energy infrastructure as part of efforts to pressure Tehran into accepting Washington's ceasefire terms, according to report by Axios.
While Trump has not made a final decision, discussions within the administration remain focused on targeting Iranian energy facilities and other critical infrastructure. The report said the proposed campaign is intended to increase pressure on Tehran amid ongoing ceasefire negotiations.

The report also said Israel could participate in the operation, which would mark its first direct military action against Iran in several weeks. However, officials cited by Axios warned that such a move could trigger renewed Iranian missile attacks on Israel.
US officials believe Iran has adopted a more aggressive posture in recent days following attacks on American forces stationed in the region.
Meanwhile, The Wall Street Journal reported that Trump has instructed military officials to prepare options for a renewed campaign aimed at increasing pressure on Iran, with operations potentially beginning as early as this weekend.
The reports come days after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met President Trump and US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth in Washington.
Speaking at Camp David earlier today, Trump hinted at the possibility of stronger action against Iran.
"We'll be hitting them very hard and, you know, at some point they're going to say, 'We just can't take it anymore'," he said.
Trump has repeatedly warned that the US could target critical Iranian infrastructure if commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz continues to face attacks.
Tensions between Iran, Israel and the United States remain high, with military exchanges continuing alongside diplomatic efforts aimed at securing a ceasefire.
