Why are gold prices fluctuating?

Gold prices have remained volatile in recent weeks as investors react to ongoing geopolitical tensions, particularly the conflict involving the United States and Iran, along with uncertainty in global financial markets.

Apart from international developments, domestic gold prices are influenced by the global spot price of gold, the strength of the US dollar, import duties, currency movements and seasonal demand during weddings and festivals.
