Domestic bullion prices in India experienced a slight downward revision on Friday, 11 September 2026, offering brief respite to retail buyers following recent historic highs. The marginal decline comes amid shifting international spot markets and minor fluctuations in foreign exchange rates.

The benchmark 24-karat gold price dropped to ₹15,289 per gram, marking a decrease of ₹262 from previous sessions. Standard 22-karat gold, widely used for traditional jewellery, settled at ₹14,015 per gram. Meanwhile, 18-karat gold stood at ₹11,467 per gram.

Similarly, industrial and retail demand for silver recorded a slight easing, with prices standing at ₹245 per gram, bringing the per-kilogram rate to ₹2,45,000. Local taxes, state-level duties, and making charges continue to account for minor price variations across key regional trade hubs.
