Kochi: The police have frozen the bank accounts of Mridanga Vision, the organisation behind the controversial dance performance at Kaloor Stadium. The freezing of two accounts comes after the police registered a case against the organisation for breach of trust. The funds collected from dancers who paid to participate in the event were deposited into these accounts.
Nigosh Kumar, director of Mridanga Vision, is set to surrender to the police today. Earlier, the CEO of Mridanga Vision, who was arrested by the police, gave a statement claiming that Nigosh Kumar was responsible for overseeing all activities. The High Court had directed Nigosh to report to the Palarivattom police station by 2:00 pm yesterday. If he fails to comply, the police are prepared to arrest him.
