Kochi: The interim bail granted to KPCC president K Sudhakaran in connection with his alleged involvement in the antique fraud case, associated with fake antique dealer Monson Mavunkal, has been extended by the high court till July 13.
The court will consider the petitions filed by the accused in the case, Sudhakaran, former DIG S Surendran and IG Guguloth Lakshman on July 13. The petitions will be heard by a bench headed by Justice AA Ziyad Rahman.
Sudhakaran, who was arrested by the Crime Branch in connection with the case on June 23, was later granted bail for two weeks in compliance with an interim bail order of the high court. He was arrested after being quizzed for about seven hours.
