Kannur: Congress leader K Sudhakaran on Monday levelled fresh allegations over the death of Ratheesh, second accused in the murder of Muslim league activist Mansoor in Panoor, Kannur. Sudhakaran stated that Ratheesh was hanged by the other accused in the case.
The accused had hidden at a house in Valayam, which is owned by CPM worker. They engaged in a conflict while in hiding. A remark against a local leader led to the conflict. Following this, Ratheesh was attacked by others. As he fell unconscious, he was hanged by others. I received this information from a local source, Sudhakaran alleged.
Mansoor murder case was planned by a local leader Panoli Valsan. It is suspicious that he was absent at the venue where he was in charge of election duty.
