Kochi: A Kerala-based startup, Genesis Labs, has established the state’s first Nvidia AI (Artificial Intelligence) factory in Kochi. The advanced facility has been set up at SmartCity Kochi for KeyValue Software Systems, marking a major step forward for the state in high-performance computing and AI infrastructure.
Genesis Labs, which is an Nvidia Studio Certified partner and an Intel Gold Member, developed the cutting-edge system as part of its effort to support next-generation AI computing and innovation.

The development comes at a time when the US-based technology giant Nvidia is preparing to build large AI factories in cities such as Mumbai and Chennai in collaboration with companies like Larsen & Toubro (L&T). Amid these large-scale initiatives, a Kerala startup has made its mark by successfully implementing a similar advanced system locally.

The project represents Kerala’s entry into exascale-class AI supercomputing, a technology designed to handle extremely large computing workloads. The facility is expected to benefit large enterprises as well as research teams, enabling them to process massive data and develop advanced AI applications.

According to Genesis Labs founder and CEO Arshad Ali, the project demonstrates how local engineering talent can create global impact.
He added that the system was designed and assembled in Kerala to support global product teams and showcase the state’s capabilities in high-performance computing and advanced AI infrastructure.
