Thiruvananthapuram: Former minister AK Balan openly criticised CPM leaders MA Baby and A Vijayaraghavan while attending a central committee meeting in Kolkata on Thursday. 

The remark was made by the veteran CPM leader at a meeting to discuss PB investigation report on complaints of corruption, factionalism and others among party units in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. 

Balan questioned the stand taken by Central Committee members Baby and Vijayaraghavan on the investigation report. As a result, the party leadership has decided to reinvestigate the matter. 

As per the complaint, a new division was formed in Telangana without the knowledge of central leadership.
