The tragic loss of four young lives in Palakkad has moved the entire state to tears. Actor and Union Minister Suresh Gopi, in a heartfelt post on his official Facebook page, expressed his condolences and shared his personal pain as a father who understands the deep sorrow of losing daughters.

In his post, Suresh Gopi wrote: "I am a father who understands the pain of losing daughters, and the depth and impact of that loss. As a father and a human being, I express my condolences to the families of the children in the pain and sorrow of this unexpected loss. All that remains now are the memories of those girls, filled with dreams, smiles, and love. I pray for the eternal peace of these children."

The four schoolgirls – Rida Fathima, Irfana Sherin, Nida Fatima, and Ayisha – lost their lives when a goods lorry lost control and overturned on top of them while they were returning home after their exams on the Palakkad-Kozhikode National Highway at Karimba Panayampadam.
