Patna: Hindustani Awam Morcha (Secular) chief and Union Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi has said he has no complaints over the NDA’s seat-sharing formula for the upcoming 2025 Bihar Assembly elections, under which his party has been allotted six seats.

"In the Parliament, we were given only one seat, were we upset? Similarly, if we got only 6 seats, it is the decision of the high command. We accept it... We are content with what we have been given. I have no complaints,” Manjhi said at a press interaction in Kannur on Sunday.

️How has the NDA divided seats for the Bihar polls?

After several rounds of internal discussions, the NDA formally announced its seat-sharing deal for the 243-member Bihar Assembly:

BJP – 101 seats

JD(U) – 101 seats

LJP (Ram Vilas) – 29 seats

RLM – 6 seats

HAM(S) – 6 seats

The announcement was made by BJP Bihar in-charge Vinod Tawde, who posted the details on X, describing the agreement as a “cordial” consensus.

What are NDA leaders saying ahead of the polls?

Union Minister Chirag Paswan, leading the Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas), expressed full confidence in the alliance’s return to power:

“Bihar is ready -- Once again an NDA government, this time with full strength,” he posted on social media with the hashtag #BiharFirstBihariFirst.

The Bihar Assembly elections will be held in two phases, on November 6 and 11, with results to be declared on November 14, according to the Election Commission.
