A mild earthquake of magnitude 3.3 struck near Rohtak, Haryana, on Sunday afternoon, causing brief panic but no reported casualties or damage

Rohtak: Haryana’s Rohtak district experienced mild earthquake tremors on Sunday at 12:14 PM IST, according to reports from locals and the National Center for Seismology (NCS).
The 3.3-magnitude quake originated 17 kilometers southeast of Rohtak at a shallow depth of 5 kilometers.

The sudden shaking prompted residents to evacuate their homes as a precaution, though the tremors lasted only a few seconds. Several locals reported feeling the ground shake lightly, but life in the city quickly returned to normal.
