New Delhi: Yet another bomb threat was reported on Friday at Delhi Public School (DPS) in Dwarka, marking the sixth such incident in the national capital within the past ten days.

"We received a call regarding the bomb threat at 5:02 am from DPS, Dwarka in Sector 23," the Delhi Fire Services (DFS) official said. According to another official, the search operation involves police, fire department personnel, bomb detection teams, and the dog squad. As a safety measure, the school was evacuated, and classes were moved online. Earlier this week, on Tuesday, bomb threats were also received by Indian Public School in South Delhi and Crescent Public School in North West Delhi, triggering widespread panic.

This marks the sixth instance in the past 11 days that schools in the capital have received similar threats. On December 13, six schools, including Bhatnagar Public School (Paschim Vihar), Cambridge School (Srinivaspuri), DPS (East of Kailash), South Delhi Public School (Defence Colony), Delhi Police Public School (Safdarjung Enclave), and Venkatesh Public School (Rohini), were targeted through similar email threats. These emails warned of bomb blasts planned for December 13 and 14, with potential targets including school events such as parent-teacher meetings and sports days. The emails claimed to be from a "dark web group" and detailed how the bombs were allegedly planted to cause maximum harm while minimizing structural damage.

Authorities later confirmed that all previous threats, including the one on December 9 targeting schools in RK Puram and Paschim Vihar, were hoaxes. However, due to security concerns for students, staff, and parents, the threats caused major disruptions, with students being sent home and schools undergoing comprehensive security checks.
