Several international services of Air India were cancelled on Sunday as escalating conflict in the Middle East disrupted key flight corridors.

The airline called off around 28 scheduled flights to destinations across Europe, the United States and Canada on March 1, 2026 amid widespread airspace closures following attacks on Iran and retaliatory strikes, which shut down much of the region’s skies and severed major westbound routes.

The cancellations were described as precautionary measures taken after aviation authorities advised carriers to avoid the airspace of multiple Middle Eastern countries due to safety concerns.
