Lucknow: An Air India Express flight from Varanasi to New Delhi was forced to make a precautionary diversion to Lucknow on Thursday following a technical snag, airline officials confirmed.
Flight AIX 1253 landed safely at Lucknow, where passengers were provided refreshments whilst alternative travel arrangements were made.
"Prioritising safety, the crew operating one of our Varanasi-Delhi flights elected to make a precautionary diversion to Lucknow due to a technical issue. The aircraft landed safely, and all guests were provided refreshments upon arrival. An alternative aircraft is being arranged on priority to connect guests to their destination," Air India Express said in an official statement.
