Thousands of readers, students and families thronged the 10th Coimbatore Book Festival at the CODISSIA Trade Fair Complex on Sunday, exploring more than 400 book stalls hosted by over 200 publishers showcasing Tamil, English and international titles. The festival continues to attract book lovers from across the region with its diverse collection spanning fiction, non-fiction, children's literature and educational books.

Visitors spent hours browsing bestselling novels, regional literature and internationally acclaimed titles, reflecting the city's growing reading culture. Many readers picked up popular books by authors including Agatha Christie, Sarah J. Maas and J.K. Rowling, while trending fantasy series such as Fourth Wing also attracted attention among younger readers.

Families were particularly drawn to the dedicated children's section, which featured colouring books, illustrated storybooks and educational titles designed for young readers. Parents said the festival provided an engaging environment to introduce children to reading while offering a wide variety of books for adults as well.

The 10th Coimbatore Book Festival will continue until July 26, welcoming visitors daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the CODISSIA Trade Fair Complex.
