Thiruvananthapuram: The autobiography of Kanthapuram AP Aboobacker Musliyar was released by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. MP Shashi Tharoor received the book from the Chief Minister. Titled 'Vishvasapoorvam', the Chief Minister hailed it as a narrative that reflects the lives of many. “This is not only the autobiography of Kanthapuram AP Aboobacker Musliyar but also the history of the socio-cultural developments of Kerala, especially Malabar,” he said.
Written during the lockdown and recovery period after hospitalisation, the autobiography delves into various aspects, including Musliyar's experiences during the Chekannur Maulavi disappearance case, shedding light on Kerala's Muslim political and social history. It documents pivotal events, such as the political journeys of E K Aboobacker Musliyar and KK Swadakathulla Musliyar, their roles in organisations like Samastha, and significant moments like resignations from key positions.
The autobiography also examines the evolutionary changes of Kozhikode city, the emergence of labour organisations around the Poonoor estate, and the dynamics within the Muslim League.

Expressing his admiration for Musliyar, MP Shashi Tharoor expressed his delight at the opportunity to receive the work of someone he greatly respects. "The book emphasises the educational and socio-cultural changes brought about by the Ustad. I view his educational efforts as a significant contribution to national unity," he added.
