Tamil Nadu Education Minister Rajmohan inaugurated a teachers’ training program in Chennai on Tuesday.

The minister on Monday had unveiled nine newly designed textbooks for Classes 1 to 3 under the updated curriculum framework. The books focus on child-friendly learning methods, using stories, songs, and interactive activities to make education more engaging and easier to understand. According to officials, the textbooks also aim to support students’ overall development by enhancing motor, social, emotional, and life skills through visually appealing content and activity-based learning.
