Craving a hot cup of tea or coffee? You no longer need to search for a tea stall or step into an upscale café. In Thrissur, a 21-year-old entrepreneur is changing how people enjoy hot beverages, on the move and in under a minute.

Meet Atul, a former software engineer who believes a good drink should be simple, accessible, and available anytime. Turning that idea into reality, he launched ‘Hot’ Instant Cup, a startup offering instant tea, coffee, and traditional beverages that only require hot water.

The menu ranges from classic masala tea and refreshing green tea to Kerala’s traditional chukku kaapi and a straightforward cup of coffee—each designed for speed without compromising on taste.

Atul says all ingredients are sourced directly from plantations, ensuring freshness and an authentic flavour in every cup.

Today, Hot Instant Cup is finding its way into IT offices, travel hubs, and busy public spaces, delivering warmth and comfort to people who don’t have time to wait.

In just two years, what began as a simple paper-cup idea has drawn attention from local vendors and on social media—proving that even the smallest ideas can brew remarkable success.
