Fresh construction near Sahastradhara's Baldi River sparks flood safety concerns as Dehradun prepares for the monsoon season
Nestled amid the hills of Dehradun, Sahastradhara remains one of Uttarakhand's most visited tourist destinations. However, memories of the devastating September 2025 cloudburst continue to haunt the scenic hotspot.

Nearly nine months later, fresh construction activity near the river has raised concerns among tourists and locals over the possibility of another tragedy during the upcoming monsoon season.
