Mines and Minerals Minister Dr. T.K. Prabhu inaugurated the renovated, air-conditioned 'Bommai Kadhalan' museum in Karaikudi, Sivaganga district. Established 25 years ago by Mahadevan, the museum preserves over 20,000 rare artifacts across 2,500 varieties. As part of the reopening, new vintage items were showcased. The Minister inaugurated the upgraded facility and personally took a fun ride on a newly acquired, operational antique scooter. He inspected the extensive historical collections, inquired about their significance, and commended the founder's quarter-century dedication to collecting and preserving rare heritage artifacts for public viewing and cultural preservation.
