In an extraordinary display of speed, precision, and martial arts discipline, renowned karate master G.S. Gopal Reddy and his students set a new Wonder Book of Records International world record at GVR Karate Academy in Narayanguda, Hyderabad. The achievement saw the team breaking 26 apples placed on the heads of six students within just 36 seconds during a live demonstration.
Held to mark the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, the event aimed to spread awareness among children and parents about the growing impact of addictive drugs, excessive mobile phone use, and social media dependence.
Speaking after the achievement, G.S. Gopal Reddy urged parents to encourage children toward discipline and healthy lifestyles. The record attempt was officially witnessed by Wonder Book of Records India officials, who presented the World Record Certificate and commemorative memento during the ceremony.
