Waterlogging forces the Mohammadpura underbridge shut, while three Vasna Barrage gates are opened to help manage Ahmedabad's rising water levels.
Heavy rains lashed Ahmedabad, causing waterlogging across several parts of the city and disrupting traffic.
The Mohammadpura underbridge on the SP Ring Road was closed due to waterlogging, while areas around Hatkeshwar, Khokhra and the 132-foot Ring Road were also affected. The Khodiyar Temple complex near Hatkeshwar Circle was temporarily shut for devotees as water accumulated on the premises. Authorities also opened three gates of the Vasna Barrage by 1.5 feet to manage the river level.
