The audio launch, branded as “Thalapathy Thiruvizha,” is scheduled for December 27 at the Bukit Jalil Stadium in Kuala Lumpur and is expected to draw nearly 80,000 fans. The musical concert will feature live performances of Vijay’s hit songs, with Anirudh performing on stage for the first time at the event.
The launch doubles as a celebration of Vijay’s cinematic journey. The release of the third single, “Chella Magale,” performed by Vijay himself, has added to fan anticipation, showcasing an emotional father-daughter moment. Previous chart-topping tracks, including “Thalapathy Kacheri” and “Oru Pere Varalaaru,” have already cemented the film’s musical popularity.
Produced by KVN Productions with a reported budget of Rs 300 crore, Jana Nayagan features a star-studded cast including Pooja Hegde, Bobby Deol, Prakash Raj, Priyamani, Gautham Vasudev Menon, and Mamitha Baiju. The three-hour-six-minute political action thriller comprises 10 high-octane action sequences intertwined with strong political themes. The film is also expected to release in Hindi under the title Jan Neta.
Despite restrictions by Malaysian authorities banning political speeches, symbols, and banners, organisers have confirmed that the audio launch will remain strictly an entertainment event. Several film personalities, including Atlee, are expected to attend, making it one of Indian cinema’s most anticipated audio launch events.
