Malayalam cinema has a new box office winner this Christmas, with Nivin Pauly-starrer ‘Sarvam Maya’ opening to a sensational response in Kerala. According to early estimates, the horror-comedy fantasy film grossed around Rs 3.50 crore on its opening day at the Kerala box office, marking Nivin Pauly’s career-best solo Day 1 performance.

The film entered theatres with strong momentum, thanks to promising bookings that clearly indicated a robust opening. The Christmas Day holiday further amplified footfalls across the state, helping Sarvam Maya register an impressive start from its very first show.

Written and directed by Akhil Sathyan, the film has been receiving a largely positive response from audiences since its release. Viewers have appreciated the film’s blend of horror, comedy, and fantasy elements, which appears to be resonating well with family audiences and young moviegoers alike.

Going forward, the Nivin Pauly-starrer will face competition from holdover releases such as ‘Bha Bha Ba’ and ‘Kalamkaval’, making its sustained performance over the coming days crucial.
