Tamil superstar Suriya has officially revealed the title of his 44th film, 'Retro', directed by Karthik Subbaraj, known for hits like 'Jigarthanda DoubleX'.  

The movie, featuring an exciting cast including Pooja Hegde, Joju George, Jayaram, and Karunakaran, is set to release in the summer of 2025.  

Suriya also shared the teaser of the film on his official X page on the occasion of Christmas.

"Merry Christmas Dear All #Retro Summer 2025. Meet y'all soon!," he wrote.

The film is being produced under Suriya and Jyotika's banner, 2D Entertainment, in collaboration with Subbaraj's Stone Bench Creations.  

Suriya's last release was the sci-fi period drama 'Kanguva'.
