Mohanlal officially joins Dileep in the star-studded Malayalam comedy Bha.Bha.Ba, directed by Dhananjay Shankar

Veteran actor Mohanlal has officially joined the sets of the the upcoming Malayalam film ‘Bhayam Bhakthi Bahumanam’ (Bha.Bha.Ba), produced by Gokulam Gopalan under the banner of Sree Gokulam Movies. The confirmation came from FEFKA (Film Employees Federation of Kerala).
General Secretary B Unnikrishnan, put to rest the widespread speculations regarding Mohanlal’s involvement in the project.
Directed by Dhananjay Shankar, ‘Bha.Bha.Ba’ stars Dileep in the lead role and is being touted as a mass comedy entertainer with a star-studded cast.
While earlier reports suggested that Mohanlal would be making a cameo appearance in the film, there had been no official statement until now. Speaking at a recent event, B Unnikrishnan revealed that he had visited the film’s set and saw the shoot of a song sequence featuring both Dileep and Mohanlal
Unnikrishnan further added that ‘Bha.Bha.Ba’ has the potential to become one of the biggest commercial hits in the history of Malayalam cinema.
The screenplay of the film is penned by actress Noorin Shereef and her husband, Fahim Safar, marking a creative collaboration that adds to the curiosity surrounding the project.
Cast and crew
The ensemble cast includes Dhyan Sreenivasan, Vineeth Sreenivasan, Sidharth Bharathan, Baiju Santhosh, Balu Varghese, Ashokan, G. Suresh Kumar, Noby, Senthil Krishna, Redin Kingsley, Shins, Saranya Ponvannan, Dhanashree, Lanka Lakshmi, and renowned choreographer Sandy.
Shot on a grand scale, the filming locations span across Coimbatore, Palakkad, and Pollachi. The teaser of the film was released on July 4.
