“It feels like he has taken his bike around the world, and I love the fact that he is now pursuing his passion,” DQ said about his senior colleague.

Kaantha, directed by Selvamani Selvaraj and starring Dulquer Salmaan, Rana Daggubati, Bhagyashri Borse and Samuthirakani, is gearing up for release amid soaring expectations. The film is co-produced by longtime friends Dulquer and Rana. The team has been on a promotional spree, with the period drama poised to hit theatres on Friday, November 14.
Among several viral candid revelations made by the cast during promotional interviews, one that has become a talking point is Dulquer Salmaan’s remark about Kollywood superstar Thala Ajith. In a conversation with Gobinath, Dulquer said, “I have seen many clips of Ajith sir racing on the track, though it is not something I follow. He has been a big inspiration to me and has always been inclined towards racing. I remember his days in F3 and F4. It feels like he has taken his bike around the world, and I love the fact that he is now pursuing his passion.”
Dulquer’s comments reflected clear admiration for his senior colleague.
Meanwhile, Ajith — who currently spends much of his time in Dubai to focus on racing — continues to prove, time and again, that he is a star both on the track and on screen. His theatrical outing in Adhik Ravichandran’s Good Bad Ugly (GBU) proved profitable, and in September his racing team finished fourth overall and third in the AM class at the European Endurance Championship’s Barcelona 24H race.
The mutual respect between two of South India’s top actors is now being celebrated by their respective fan bases. (With inputs from Agencies)
