Fahadh Faasil’s new movie: Renji Panicker returns to directing after 16-year hiatus

On Malayalam actor Fahad Faasil's birthday this year, it has been announced that Renji Panicker will direct a new film starring him in the lead role. This marks Renji Panicker's return to directing after a 16-year break.

Renji Panicker is preparing the screenplay for the film himself, but the release date has not yet been announced. The makers of the film have also released an announcement video. Joby George is producing the film under the banner of Goodwill Entertainment.

Renji Panicker made his directorial debut with ‘Bharathchandran IPS’, released in 2005. He followed this with the film ‘Roudram’ in 2008, which starred Mammootty. Renji Panicker himself wrote the scripts for both films.
