‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ continued its formidable run at the box office on its sixth day, registering only a marginal weekday dip even as it surged past the ₹550-crore mark domestically. The Ranveer Singh-led sequel has now amassed an estimated ₹575.67 crore net in India, with the gross domestic tally climbing to around ₹687.43 crore.

Overseas, the film’s momentum remains strong despite restrictions in key Gulf territories. With overseas earnings touching ₹231.57 crore, its worldwide gross has risen to ₹919 crore, edging it closer to joining the elite ₹1,000-crore club.

Strong Tuesday holds push domestic total upwards

According to Sacnilk, on day 6, the film collected ₹56.55 crore across India. The Hindi version contributed roughly ₹52 crore, while the Telugu dub once again led the regional performance charts with an estimated ₹3.10 crore.

The film’s extended weekend numbers offered a commanding early lead: ₹102.55 crore on opening day, followed by ₹80.72 crore on Day 2, ₹113 crore on Day 3 and ₹114.85 crore on Day 4. Day 5 saw a predictable correction to ₹65 crore, but Day 6’s steady hold reaffirmed the film’s box office resilience.

Overseas surge continues despite Gulf ban

The film maintains strong traction overseas, where it has been released across 3,000 screens, one of the widest international footprints ever for a Hindi production.

Despite being barred in Gulf markets, the film has earned more than ₹231 crore abroad. Its six-day overseas tally stands at approximately $27 million after adding $2 million on Tuesday.

Significant gains were logged even before the film’s official release. Paid previews on 18 March generated ₹43 crore from more than 12,000 shows nationwide, despite multiple cancellations. These preview earnings helped the film break several opening-day and extended-weekend records for a Hindi release.

Franchise milestone

The Dhurandhar franchise has now crossed ₹2,200 crore in cumulative global collections. This places it behind only the Baahubali series from director SS Rajamouli and the YRF Spy Universe, which includes films led by stars such as Salman Khan (Tiger), Hrithik Roshan (War), Shah Rukh Khan (Pathaan) and Alia Bhatt (Alpha).

The latest instalment has already overtaken lifetime global earnings of blockbusters like ‘Secret Superstar’ starring Aamir Khan, ‘Animal’ headlined by Ranbir Kapoor, and ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ featuring Salman Khan. It now sets its sights on films such as ‘Pathaan’ and ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ led by Prabhas.

‘Dhurandhar 2’ cast

‘Dhurandhar 2’ reunites Ranveer Singh with co-stars Arjun Rampal, R Madhavan and Sanjay Dutt, along with Sara Arjun and Rakesh Bedi. Directed by Aditya Dhar, the nearly four-hour thriller has defied conventional expectations surrounding the 3-hour and 49-minute runtime and weekday drop-offs.

Day 7 early estimates point to continued stability

Heading into its first full week, the film remains strong, playing across more than 8,800 screens on Wednesday. Early estimates indicate ₹9.51 crore in morning-to-afternoon collections, pushing the net domestic total to ₹585.23 crore and the gross domestic figure to ₹698.71 crore. Final numbers for Day 7 are expected to rise after evening and late-night shows are accounted for.

With remarkable weekday consistency, robust overseas traction and a near-unstoppable domestic surge, ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ now looks set to cross the ₹600-crore net mark in India and challenge the ₹1,000-crore global milestone within days.
