The National Testing Agency (NTA) has acknowledged technical issues affecting NEET UG 2026 re-exam admit card downloads and has provided alternative access options while also opening a correction window for fee refund bank account verification.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has responded to complaints from candidates facing difficulties downloading their NEET UG 2026 re-exam admit cards. The agency said that while around four lakh candidates have already downloaded their hall tickets, some students are encountering technical glitches and server-related issues on the official website.
In an official statement, NTA said its technical teams are working to resolve the problems and assured candidates that admit cards will be made available to all eligible students. The agency also expressed regret for the inconvenience caused.

Alternative platforms available for hall ticket access
To ensure candidates are not affected by the technical issues, NTA has enabled alternative methods for downloading admit cards. Students who are unable to access their hall tickets through the official NEET portal can download them through Digilocker and the UMANG application.
The move is aimed at reducing pressure on the official website and ensuring that candidates receive their admit cards well before the examination date.
Bank account verification linked to admit card download
Alongside the admit card update, NTA has opened a correction and verification window for candidates seeking refunds of examination-related fees.
According to the agency, scrutiny of submitted bank account details revealed several discrepancies, including incorrect account numbers, incomplete information and other errors that could delay refund processing. NTA has therefore provided candidates with an opportunity to verify and update their banking details.
The agency has made it clear that candidates must complete bank account verification before they can access and download their RE-NEET 2026 admit cards.
What candidates need to verify
Students must log in to the NEET UG 2026 portal using their application credentials and complete OTP-based authentication through their registered mobile number.
Candidates are required to verify or update details including:
- Beneficiary name
- Bank account number
- Confirmation of bank account number
- Bank name
- IFSC code
Applicants may also upload supporting documents such as a cancelled cheque or the first page of a bank passbook to facilitate successful verification.
Why NTA opened the correction window
The correction window was introduced after NTA received multiple representations from candidates requesting an opportunity to rectify banking errors that could prevent refunds from being credited successfully.
The agency said the verification process is necessary to ensure that refund payments reach the correct beneficiaries without delays or transaction failures.
Re-exam scheduled for June 21
The NEET UG 2026 re-examination will be conducted on June 21 across 551 cities in India and 14 international cities.
The test will be held in a single shift. NTA has also extended the examination duration by 15 minutes to accommodate mandatory pre-examination formalities, including attendance verification and invigilation procedures.
Background: Why the re-exam is being conducted
The June 21 examination is being held as a re-test for eligible candidates following NTA's decision to conduct a fresh examination process under revised arrangements. The agency has also introduced several student-friendly measures for the re-exam, including enhanced verification procedures and alternative admit card access systems.
With the examination date approaching, NTA has urged candidates to complete bank account verification at the earliest and regularly monitor official channels for updates regarding admit card downloads and examination-related instructions.
