KEAM 2025: Ernakulam, Kozhikode, and Thiruvananthapuram lead district-wise performance in engineering ranks

The Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) declared the results of the Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical (KEAM) 2025 entrance examinations on Tuesday. Higher Education Minister R Bindu made the announcement in Kozhikode.
The computer-based exams were conducted from April 23 to April 29, 2025, across 138 centres in cities such as Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru, and Dubai.
Participation and qualification
A total of 86,549 candidates appeared for the Engineering Entrance Examination, with 76,230 qualifying. Among them, 67,505 candidates were included in the engineering rank list after submitting required academic marks. In the Pharmacy Entrance Examination, 33,425 candidates appeared and 27,841 made it to the rank list.
Engineering stream: district-wise performance
Ernakulam district led the KEAM 2025 engineering results, clinching the top two positions with identical scores of 588.5773 out of 600. The district’s performance reflects its strong academic presence in the technical education space.
Kozhikode secured three positions in the top ten, with scores ranging from 588.5773 to 583.0854. Thiruvananthapuram claimed the fifth and sixth ranks, while Malappuram also marked its place with fourth and tenth ranks.
Kollam stood out in the female category with a top-ten finish. Another top-performing female candidate hailed from Bangalore Urban, ranking 13th overall with a score above 580.
Kasaragod emerged strong in both SC and ST categories. It produced the highest-ranked SC candidate with a score of 561.5349 and the second-highest ST candidate with a score of 460.3663. Thiruvananthapuram and Kottayam followed in the respective categories.
Nearly every district in Kerala had representation in the upper tier of the engineering rank list:
