The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Indore has invited applications for admission to its Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) 2026–31 batch.

The IPM is a five-year course designed for students who wish to pursue management education straight after school. During the first three years, students study foundational subjects across disciplines. In years four and five, IPM students study management alongside students of IIM Indore’s two-year Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP) and follow the same course structure.

Students who successfully complete the five-year programme will be awarded:

  • Bachelor of Arts (Foundations of Management) and
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA)

Those who complete the first three years of the programme may choose to exit with a Bachelor of Arts (Foundations of Management) degree.

Internships and practical learning

To strengthen practical exposure,  students must complete

  • a social internship at the end of Year 2
  • a business internship between Years 4 and 5

These internships help develop leadership qualities and strengthen managerial skills through hands-on learning.

Details of the programme, including curriculum and fee structure, are available at https://iimidr.ac.in/ (Go to Programmes > Academic Programmes > Five Year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM))

  • Aptitude Test (AT)

Candidates who do not appear for either the Aptitude Test or the Personal Interview will not be considered for selection.

Eligible candidates will be invited to take the Aptitude Test, which will be conducted tentatively in 39 cities across the country on May 4, 2026 (Monday), from 2 pm to 4 pm

The test will have three sections, each of 40 minutes:

Each question carries 4 marks. There is a negative marking of 1 mark for each incorrect answer, except in the Quantitative Ability (SA) section, which has no negative marking.

Candidates must attempt the sections in a pre-specified order, which will be the same for all candidates.

Personal Interview (PI)

Candidates who score positive raw scores and meet the minimum cut-off marks in all three sections of the Aptitude Test will be shortlisted for the Personal Interview.

The section-wise cut-off marks will be decided by the Admissions Committee and will vary by category. Details are available on the official website.

Shortlisted candidates will attend the Personal Interview in online or offline mode, as informed by the Institute. The Admissions Committee will also assess consistency and minimum performance across different interview parameters. Candidates failing to meet these requirements will not proceed further.
