Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit, Kalady P.O., Ernakulam, Kerala – 683 574, has invited applications for the Entrance Examination for admission to various PG / PG Diploma Programmes for the academic year 2024-25.

Programs offered: MA in Sanskrit Sahitya, Sanskrit Vedanta, Sanskrit Vyakarana, Sanskrit General, Sanskrit Nyaya, Malayalam, Hindi, English Language & Literature, History, Philosophy, Music, Dance-Bharathanatyam, Dance-Mohiniyattom, Theatre, Comparative Literature & Linguistics, Urdu, Arabic, Sociology, Museology; MSc. – Psychology, Geography; Master of Social Work (MSW), Master of Fine Arts (MFA), Master of Physical Education and Sports (MPES), Multi-Disciplinary Dual Main Masters in Disaster Management: MSc in Geography and Disaster Management, MSc in Psychology and Disaster Management, MA in Sociology and Disaster Management, Master’s in Social Work and Disaster Management; P.G Diploma: Wellness and Spa Management, Translation and office Proceedings in Hindi.

Eligibility For Admission: The Eligibility for applying to PG Programme is any Under Graduate degree (10+2+3) recognized by Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit. Those regular students under Choice Based Credit and Semester System of U.G. programme who have successfully completed and passed all the courses of I to IV Semesters (I to VI semesters for four-year Degree Programme) and appearing for the final semester examination in April-May 2024 are also eligible to apply for the programmes offered, on the condition that they should produce the provisional/original degree certificate by 31.08.2024. All other candidates shall submit their proof of eligibility to the programme (including all relevant original certificates) at the time of admission. Those who have completed one PG programme in the regular stream can also apply for additional PG. But they are not eligible for any fee concession, hostel facilities or the right to contest in University Elections. All eligible candidates will be called for an Entrance Examination and Aptitude test. There will be separate entrance examinations for each Programme. 

Qualifying marks in Entrance Test: Those who secure a minimum of 40% of marks (50% for MSW and MPES) in the PG Entrance Examinations qualify for admission. A relaxation of 5% will be available for applicants belonging to SC/ST, Differently Abled and Transgender categories. One can apply for maximum of three Programmes regardless of the subjects they had taken in their graduate level (unless specified). 

Application: Application can be submitted online at https://ssus.ac.in/ latest by 7.4.2024. Fee for the entrance examinations is given in the Notification and can be paid online.

Hall Ticket for the entrance test can be downloaded from 12.4.2024. 

Entrance Examinations will commence on 15.4.2024 (Tentative).
