Vivo has expanded its premium smartphone lineup in India with the launch of the new Vivo X200T on Tuesday, January 27. The latest handset arrives with a powerful MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ processor and a large 6,200mAh battery supported by fast wired and wireless charging.

Positioned in the upper mid-premium segment, the Vivo X200T focuses on performance, imaging and display quality, while offering flagship-grade features.

The smartphone comes with IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. Vivo has introduced the device in two colour options — Stellar Black and Seaside Lilac — targeting users looking for both durability and refined design.

Vivo X200T performance and software

At its core, the Vivo X200T is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ processor, paired with an octa-core CPU. The smartphone runs OriginOS 6, built on Android 16, delivering the latest software features and system-level improvements.

Vivo X200T storage and price in India

For memory and storage, Vivo offers LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and UFS 4.1 internal storage, aimed at faster app launches and smoother multitasking. The device comes in two configurations.

The 12GB RAM with 256GB storage variant is priced at ₹79,999, with an introductory price of ₹59,999. The higher 12GB RAM with 512GB storage variant costs ₹87,999, with an initial launch price of ₹69,999.

The phone also supports up to 12GB of expandable RAM for enhanced performance during heavy usage.

Vivo X200T display

The Vivo X200T features a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2800 x 1260 pixels. The panel supports a 120Hz refresh rate, offering smoother scrolling and gaming performance.

It also delivers a local peak brightness of up to 5,000 nits, ensuring clear visibility even under harsh sunlight. The screen supports capacitive multi-touch input and is designed to enhance multimedia consumption and everyday usage.

Photography is a major highlight of the Vivo X200T. The smartphone features a triple rear camera setup consisting of three 50MP sensors. On the front, it houses a 50MP selfie camera designed for detailed portraits and video calls.

The Vivo X200T features a 50MP ZEISS main camera with an f/1.57 aperture, OIS and ZEISS T coating. It is paired with a 50MP ZEISS super telephoto camera powered by the Sony IMX882 1/1.95-inch sensor, offering a 70mm periscope lens with up to 100× ZEISS HyperZoom and 20× telephoto macro support. The triple camera setup is completed by a 50MP ultra wide-angle camera featuring the JN1 1/2.76-inch sensor, f/2.0 aperture, 15mm equivalent focal length and autofocus support.

The camera system supports multiple shooting modes including portrait, photo, video, portrait video, snapshot, landscape and night, panorama, ultra HD document, slow motion, stage, time-lapse, pro, food and street photography modes, offering wide flexibility for different shooting conditions.

Vivo X200T battery and charging

The Vivo X200T packs a large 6,200mAh typical battery, with a minimum rated capacity of 6,060mAh. The device supports 90W FlashCharge technology for fast wired charging, along with 40W Wireless FlashCharge. Vivo uses a lithium-ion battery, aiming to deliver long-lasting endurance for daily usage, gaming and content consumption.

In terms of design, the Vivo X200T measures 16.001cm x 7.429cm x 0.799cm. The handset weighs 205 grams in the Stellar Black variant, while the Seaside Lilac model weighs slightly less at 203 grams. It features an aluminium alloy middle frame paired with a glass back cover. It also has a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor integrated into the device.
