OnePlus 15 5G leak hints at redesigned camera, massive battery, Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset

A fresh leak has possibly revealed the first look at the much-anticipated OnePlus 15 5G, hinting at a bold redesign along with updated specifications. The image, shared by tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore on X (formerly Twitter), shows a revamped rear camera system and a new set of finishes.
A new look for OnePlus 15 5G
The render suggests OnePlus is moving away from the familiar circular camera housing seen on models such as the OnePlus 13. Instead, the OnePlus 15 appears to adopt a square-shaped camera island with rounded corners, expected to accommodate three sensors. This aligns with earlier claims that the brand would retire its circular module design in favour of a sharper, more angular layout.
OnePlus 15 5G colours and configurations
According to the leak, the OnePlus 15 5G may launch in three colour options–Black, Purple, and Titanium. Storage and memory combinations are said to include 12GB RAM with either 256GB or 512GB storage, or 16GB RAM paired with the same storage options. A premium version could feature 16GB RAM alongside 1TB of internal storage.
OnePlus 15 5G hardware and performance
Benchmark listings have linked the device to Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset, also known as Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. If true, this would place the OnePlus 15 among the top-tier flagships due for release later this year.

Reports claim the phone will sport a 6.78-inch flat LTPO screen with 1.5K resolution and a refresh rate of up to 165Hz. The biggest talking point, however, could be its battery—leaks suggest a capacity exceeding 7,000mAh, supported by 100W wired fast charging.
