Rockstar Games’ highly anticipated title, Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA 6), could be facing another delay, if the latest online leaks are to be believed. The game, which was previously expected to hit shelves in May 2026, might now be released as late as September 2026, according to a report by Tom’s Guide.

This claim originates from a leaker known as Millie A, who shared the update via X (formerly Twitter). Millie alleges that internal discussions at Rockstar Games have led to the possibility of pushing back the launch date yet again. The title was originally set for a Fall 2025 release before it was officially delayed to May 2026. Rockstar has yet to make a formal statement regarding this rumoured shift in schedule.

In addition to the revised release window, the leak also shared purported details about the pricing of the game. If accurate, the pricing will be as follows:

Standard Edition: Expected to retail at £69.99

Deluxe Edition: Likely priced at £89.99, potentially including early access to GTA Online

Premium Edition: Reportedly set at £109.99, which may grant players “first access” to GTA Online

The tiered pricing structure, particularly the benefits tied to the more expensive editions, appears to mirror Rockstar’s strategy with GTA 5, where GTA Online played a crucial role in the game’s longevity and revenue success. By offering early access to its online component, the studio could be aiming to drive demand for the higher-end versions of the game.
