Rockstar Games will unveil an extended look at GTA 6 on August 27 through Netflix, YouTube and the official GTA 6 website. Here's what to expect.

Gamers counting down to the release of Grand Theft Auto VI will get a fresh look at Rockstar Games' most anticipated title later this month. 'Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look' is set to premiere on August 27, streaming on Netflix, while also launching simultaneously on the official Rockstar Games YouTube channel and the official Grand Theft Auto VI website.
The announcement was made by Rockstar Games in a press release, according to Variety.
Calling it a landmark collaboration, Netflix described the event as "a first-of-its-kind partnership to premiere an extended look at the next evolution in the groundbreaking Grand Theft Auto series, Grand Theft Auto VI."
The showcase is expected to offer fans a deeper look at the game's world, characters and gameplay as anticipation continues to build around the title, which has been in development for the past 13 years.
According to the official synopsis, the story is set in Vice City and follows Jason and Lucia, whose plans quickly spiral out of control after an easy score goes wrong.
"Vice City, USA. Jason and Lucia have always known the deck is stacked against them. But when an easy score goes wrong, they find themselves on the darkest side of the sunniest place in America, in the middle of a conspiracy stretching across the state of Leonida, forced to rely on each other more than ever if they want to make it out alive."
Rockstar Games had earlier confirmed the game's pricing in June. The standard edition of GTA 6 will be priced at USD 79.99 and will be available in both digital and physical formats.
Players looking for extra content can opt for the Ultimate Edition, priced at USD 99.99. It includes an exclusive collection of premium vehicles, weapons, apparel and other in-game content spanning multiple aspects of the game.
