Google Meet outage sparks hilarious jokes & memes! Users turned chaos into comedy with desi humour. Find out what happened and read the funniest reactions. Don`t miss the laughs!

Social media users never miss a chance to turn chaos into comedy and Wednesday’s Google Meet outage proved it once again. As thousands struggled to join their work calls, social media lit up not with complaints, but with jokes, memes, dancing GIFs, and pure desi humour.
One user joked,“Google Meet is down for everyone, but my org uses Teams.”
Another shared a full “downtime timeline” of the tech world, writing:
“Oct 20: AWS down, Oct 29: Azure down, Oct 30: Oracle Cloud down, Nov 18: Cloudflare down,
Nov 26: Google Meet down.
Cloud providers are playing musical chairs with our uptime — and nobody’s winning.”
For some, the outage hit at the worst — and funniest — possible moment.
“Itni mushkil se to interview mila tha… Google Meet hi down chala gaya (after so many hardships got an interview to attend, now Google Meet itself is down),” one user wrote, poking fun at their unfortunate timing.
Meanwhile, people happily declared a break from work with dancing GIFs and captions like, "Google Meet is down. Meetings cancelled.”
Another user took the opportunity for some mid-week self-care, "Time for a nap.”
And of course, the tech-world roasting continued, “So did the intern who brought down @AWS a few weeks ago move to Google Meet or what?”
Google Meet faces midday outage
While the internet laughed, Google Meet was indeed down for many users in India on Wednesday. People reported problems joining video calls, particularly through the website.
According to Downdetector, more than 1,760 users reported issues by 12:29 pm. The most common complaint: sudden disconnections or being completely unable to join meetings.
Users trying to log in were met with the error message, “502. That’s an error.”
